CONNECTING...

Growing up in multicultural San Francisco at about the same time, the almost amazing thing is that Steven
and Joanne did not meet sooner. Their lives and pathways passed each other many times, like the proverbial
"ships in the night." Ironically, they met quite unexpectedly in a restaurant waiting area in Marin County,
just across the Golden Gate. Joanne was picking up takeout; Steven was waiting to meet with someone in the
music biz. They still celebrate that date every month — taking nothing for granted — as the day
a wonderful connection began in their lives. Together, they've not only re-discovered mutual friends and
contacts, but have newly discovered a wide circle of friends to share their loving spirits with.
A mutual love of people from all walks of life, a love of music, and a desire to find a way to make the world
a little better led them to join forces, not just in their personal lives, but through the founding of the
Heartlanguage Project.

art and media we produce support tangible results. We want to produce inspiration, education, and support of
non-profit ventures as our greater goal."
