		STEVEN'S CORNER WHO MOVES ME... Joanne (right), my partner of 7 years and a planned happily ever after... loving each other, and great dining! Those who know me know I love to cook almost as much as I love to write songs. Good food and good music nourish the body and the soul. What makes 'em good is the love that makes 'em. One of those guys who always wanted kids, being father to Jean-Michael and Samantha (left) has made me consider not only the kind of lives I want for them personally, but for life on Earth for their children, and so on 7 generations ahead... WHAT MOVES ME... The forest is my temple, and the mountains are my cathedrals. The fields of nature are where I can feel the very active power of ongoing creation - and see it. And smell it, my furry companions would add. In my earlier years, I spent 10 of them working with injured wildlife, with particular focus on falcons, hawks, and an eagle. This is Joanna (left), a special friend for all those years. Pictured to the right are Zeus and Shasta, at Mt. Shasta (far off the beaten trail). They came to my life while I was involved with Sled Dog Rescue. Several years ago, I was asked (in an intense Humanities class) to declare what my stand in the world was. It was what it still is: There is Unity of Life, and we are the caretakers.
